The meeting titled Planning of Educational Services for Students with Disabilities, organized by the Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University Disability Student Unit Coordination, was held on the afternoon of November 17, 2025, at the Troia Cultural Center with extensive participation from our university's academic and administrative staff. In the meeting held under the moderation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sinan Kalkan, it was emphasized how students with disabilities should conduct themselves in professional life after their school years, and that our feelings of love, respect, and empathy toward individuals with disabilities should be prioritized. Psychologist Serdar Topal took the floor to explain the problems and difficulties that students and individuals with disabilities experience in school and work life, concluding with the words: I am certain that approaching individuals with disabilities with a very refined and patient language as much as we can will create a livable environment for all of us.

Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Arda Aydin also spoke at the meeting, stating that necessary efforts are being made on behalf of our university regarding the education of students and individuals with disabilities as much as possible, and that a more favorable and accessible environment will be provided in the coming periods. He expressed that the required steps will be taken. We would like to thank everyone who participated and showed interest in our meeting.
