Opening of the Disability Student Unit as Part of December 3rd International Day of Persons with Disabilities Events

Rector Prof. Dr. Erenoğlu, in his speech at the opening ceremony of the office—which he described as "an important step towards further strengthening our university's services for students with special needs and creating an inclusive university environment"—stated:

"Our students with special needs are valuable members of our university. We are committed to providing all the necessary support to ensure they can continue their education in the best possible way. The 'Barrier-Free Office' will be a center aimed at removing the obstacles our disabled students face in their academic, social, and cultural lives, while enabling them to take a more active role and increase their success in university life. At this center, counseling, guidance, and support services will be provided to our students with special needs. I have full confidence that the success of our students with special needs at our university will continue to grow. I would like to thank all my colleagues who contributed to the realization of this center."

Following the opening, the delegation toured the office and received information about its activities.
